原文:WEATHER OR NOT: World Cup organizers are downplaying the chance of rain for Sunday's final in Berlin.
A thunderous storm forced organizers to cancel an "Africa's Calling" concert in the German capital Friday night, and a media tent adjacent to the Olympic Stadium was evacuated a third time due to safety concerns.
The German weather service predicted Sunday morning showers would clear to leave a 20 percent chance of rain at night and a low of around 65 degrees.
The chances of having to reschedule the match were extremely remote, FIFA communications director Markus Siegler said Saturday. There were all sorts of contingencies available in case of heavy rain, including delaying the start or even postponing the match until Monday.
Germany 2006 spokesman Gerd Graus said the pitch was well drained and should be in good shape for the France-Italy final.
Fans are covered at Olympic Stadium, but the field is unprotected. The stadium, originally built for the 1936 Olympics, was renovated in 2004.
