FOOTBALL FANS CENSUS
The good, the bad and the ugly things you have spotted.
Brazil midfielder Kaka has put an end to speculation about his future by putting pen-to-paper on a new five-year deal at Milan.
The graceful performer, who has arguably been his country's most consistent performer at the World Cup thus far, had reportedly been a target of Real Madrid.
With Ronaldo, Robinho, Roberto Carlos and Cicinho already in the Spanish capital there had been talk that Kaka was ready to link-up with his compatriots in La Liga.
He has, though, now concurred on fresh terms with Milan despite the fact they are one of the clubs embroiled in the match-fixing scandal that has tarnished the Italian game.
Kaka is widely regarded to be one of the world's best players as despite his tender years he is a mainstay for both Milan and Brazil, with his present employers understandably delighted to have secured his services until 2011.
Since arriving in Milan in 2003 from Sao Paulo, Kaka has been a top performer for the Rossoneri and in Germany he has proven a match winner for his country already, netting the only goal in his country's defeat of Croatia.
Kaka already has a World Cup winners' medal to his name from 2002 and he could well cap a fine campaign with another come July 9.
