　　MARCO VAN BASTEN has promised the Dutch a night at a pop concert if they reach the World Cup Final — so they can repeat his 1988 heroics.

　　The Holland boss scored a wonder goal in the last major international final in Germany as the Soviets were beaten 2-0 in the European Championship 18 years ago.

　　Van Basten revealed: “In 1988 we attended a Whitney Houston concert before the final. If we reach the final this year, I will do the same thing.

　　“I have no idea who is singing or who is playing — but we will find someone.”

　　Van Basten was a victim of customary Dutch in-fighting during his only World Cup as a player in their stormy 1990 campaign.

　　But as he prepares for tonight’s Group C clash with Ivory Coast here, Van Basten insists the Dutch now have a strong team spirit despite a spat between Robin van Persie and Arjen Robben.

　　Chelsea’s Robben scored in Sunday’s 1-0 win over Serbia but was accused of being selfish by Arsenal’s Van Persie.

　　But Van Basten claimed: “The players have a lot of trust and confidence in each other to take into the Ivory Coast game.

　　“The relationship between Robben and Van Persie only becomes dangerous when it becomes an issue in the media.

　　“I have discussed the situation between them and we have mentioned it to the whole group. It is not an issue now.

　　“It just happened that a lot of balls were crossed in from the right to the left. Arjen Robben did very good work with the ball. Maybe the players realised that during the game.
