　　DAVID BECKHAM has promised England’s World Cup stars will not be distracted by the presence of wives and girlfriends.

　　Alan Shearer questioned the presence of partners in Baden-Baden.

　　Former England striker Shearer said“You are in the tournament to win it and nothing should get in the way.”

　　But family man Beckham insists all the players are totally focused. He said“We’ve seen the wives, kids and girlfriends for a day and a half. It’s no distraction.

　　“Sven likes a relaxed atmosphere and when you’re away for five weeks it’s nice to have the option of seeing your family.”
