　　Croatia coach Zlatko Kranjcar insisted the 1-0 defeat to Brazil would not hinder his side's chances of making the World Cup knockout stage.

　　In all likelihood, Croatia were not expecting to get anything out of the Group F clash in Berlin, but they troubled the reigning champions on a number of occasions.

　　Kaka's fine first half effort proved the difference as Brazil moved top of the group with Australia after one game, but Kranjcar still believes his side can claim second spot ahead of The Socceroos and Japan.

　　"Brazil made a goal from just the one chance. This defeat won't stop us from going further," said Kranjcar.

　　"But they have fantastic players in their side with the likes of Kaka."

　　Croatia's next game comes against Japan on June 18 and a victory over Zico's side would set them up for a place in the final 16.
