　　STORY-Argentina are ready to put the disappointment of the

　　last World Cup behind them against Ivory Coast in Hamburg

　　on Saturday (June 10), says birthday boy Javier Mascherano.

　　"We have waited for another chance at this for a long

　　time," the midfielder told reporters on Thursday, referring

　　to Argentina's failure to get through the first stage of

　　the 2002 World Cup.

　　Mascherano, who turned 22 on Thursday, is set for a

　　ball-winning role for the twice former champions in the

　　Group C match at the AOL Arena.

　　soil in 2001, said coach Jose Pekerman's team know how

　　are trying to keep it as calm as possible, we know we have

　　the chance to get to the final," he said.
