　　Elephants canter to Slovenia victory

　　C?te d'Ivoire completed their FIFA World Cup? preparation with a dominant 3-0 victory over Slovenia in Bondoufle, France on Sunday.

　　It provided a welcome boost for the Elephants who had been far from convincing in their two previous warm-up matches, drawing 1-1 with both Switzerland and Chile.

　　Talisman Didier Drogba, the Chelsea striker, was at the centre of the Ivorians' attacking forays and scored two goals before Kanga Akale wrapped up a morale-boosting victory with 20 minutes to go.

　　The Elephants have been drawn in Group, C alongside heavyweights Argentina and Netherlands and the defensively solid Serbia and Montenegro.

　　One advantage they may have is their sheer athleticism which overwhelmed the Slovenians and allowed them to surpass anything England's Peter Crouch can do as they performed their own team dance after each of Drogba's two first-half strikes, within a minute of each other.

　　Henri Michel's men begin their FIFA World Cup challenge on 10 June against Argentina.
