　　KIEV, June 1 (Reuters) - Veteran striker Serhiy Rebrov, down with an hip injury, is to miss one and possibly two of Ukraine's final tune-up friendlies ahead of their first World Cup campaign in Germany.

　　"I'm feeling a bit better, though for the moment I'm not joining in training sessions," Rebrov told the daily Sport Express's online edition as the Ukrainians left for their final training camp in Switzerland.

　　"It is still not clear whether I will play in the friendly against Libya. There is no doubt I will miss the Italy game."

　　Ukraine play Italy on Friday in the Swiss city of Lausanne and take on Libya on June 5. A final warm-up is scheduled against Luxembourg on June 8 before they opens their World Cup campaign against Group H favourites Spain on June 14.

　　Ukraine also face Saudi Arabia and Tunisia.

　　Rebrov sustained the injury at the team's earlier training camp in Turkey and missed a 4-0 thrashing of Costa Rica on Sunday. Doctors had initially described the injury as not serious.

　　Coach Oleg Blokhin's side has been affected by a rash of injuries in the weeks leading up to the finals, hitting in particular the team's defence.
