England's high profile to help Portugal - Pauleta
Portugal's all-time record goalscorer Pauleta believes English football's high profile could work against them in their World Cup quarter-final.
Pauleta insists there are no secrets in the England side.
He said: 'In a way it is easier to play against England than other teams.
'We see English players playing more often on television. We play against them more often. We have more information about their players.'
The theory may explain Luis Felipe Scolari's coaching success against Sven-Goran Eriksson.
When they met at Japan 2002 Scolari emerged victorious, his Brazil side coming back from Michael Owen's opening goal to beat England 2-1.
At Euro 2004 Scolari's side required penalties but also fought back twice after England had gained the lead to progress in the tournament.
In the tightest situations, Scolari appears to have the edge in knowing how to influence a match.
Everton's Nuno Valente said: 'We are all very happy to have him as a coach. He has a strong will but lets the players play with freedom.
'In three-and-a-half years he has shown all his qualities leading the Portugal team.'
Valente, however, had a word of appreciation for Eriksson and his England side, who have fielded criticism for their lacklustre displays on the way to the quarter-finals.
'I don't agree England are playing badly,' he said.
'People said the Spanish team were playing best in this tournament - and they are now out.
'But we are all going to be fit on Saturday. We have had six days to rest and we are working as usual.'
