　　Jens Lehmann reacted positively to speculation in Germany yesterday that Miroslav Klose has become a target for Arsenal. There was no confirmation that Klose's club, Werder Bremen, had received an offer for the 28-year-old forward but Lehmann welcomed the idea of Klose joining him in north London.

　　"Of course he could play a fantastic role for Arsenal," Lehmann said. "He is excellent in the air and a great finisher. We use our wingers a lot more than other teams and it would be fantastic to have the classic centre-forward on the end of them." Lehmann then added: "But I am loathe to comment on rumours."
