　　１３日，勞爾告訴記者：“做替補隊員並沒有使我難堪，全隊２３個人都想上場，但教練只能選１１個人首發，所有人都會有機會的。”

　　LEIPZIG, June 13 (Reuters) - Spain captain Raul says he does not feel let down about being relegated to the bench for his side's opening World Cup match against Ukraine.

　　"I'm not hurt by being a substitute," the Real Madrid striker told a news conference on Tuesday.

　　"All 23 players in the squad want to play, but the coach (Luis Aragones) has chosen 11 for the first game and there will be opportunities for all of us.

　　"Although I talk to him every day, he hasn't said anything special to me. I'm just another member of the squad and he doesn't have to give me any special explanations. I may not be in the starting 11, but that's not important."

　　The 28-year-old trained with the substitutes for the fourth day running and looks certain to start on the bench with Fernando Torres, David Villa and Luis Garcia comprising the three-man attack.

　　Torres has struck 10 times in 30 international appearances, while Villa was the top-scoring Spaniard in the Primera Liga this season with 25 goals.

　　Raul has scored 43 goals in 95 international appearances, but has failed to recapture his form since a three-month lay-off because of a serious knee injury.

　　Aragones all but confirmed that Raul would not be in the starting lineup.

　　"I haven't told the players what the team will be yet, but I've given enough clues for everyone to work it out and I've been training with a team without Raul," he told a news conference.

　　"My belief at the moment is that other players might be able to offer me something different. This doesn't mean, however, that Raul won't feature in the match at some time.

　　"I think it would be difficult for him to play 90 minutes and it would be better for him to come on during the game. Raul is the captain and I speak with him enough for him to understand my decision."

　　Spain play their second match against Tunisia on June 19 and meet Saudi Arabia in their final game in Group H.
