    The first swimming club for the disabled people, the South of the Clouds Swimming Club for the disabled in Kunming, China, was set up in August 2007. Used to be the training base for the national team of the disabled athletes, it is now primarily meant to train China’s athletes for the Beijing Paralympics in 2008.
