　　Richard Dorfman is Executive Director and General Manager of A1GP World Cup of Motorsport's broadcasting, media, marketing and public relations.

　　He has established himself as a leading expert in broadcasting rights and production, having carved out a career that spans just about every major global sports event from the Wimbledon tennis finals to the soccer and rugby World Cups.

　　Richard has been passionate about sport since he was a child. After a promising career as a soccer player, he switched to sports administration and soon became involved in public relations for the Washington Diplomats soccer team in the early 1970s and later the New York Cosmos’ squad. Soon after, he joined the National Basketball Association as director of broadcasting before switching to Saatchi and Saatchi in 1991 where his primary responsibilities included managing the World Alpine Skiing Championships in Austria. Since then Richard has been involved with negotiating broadcasting rights for three Rugby Union World Cups, two soccer World Cups and has worked as an expert consultant for a wide range of major companies in sport.
