江和平 男，1963年1月出生，碩士研究生，中共黨員，現任中央電視臺體育中心主任、體育頻道總監、高級編輯。

　　1987年7月畢業于上海外國語學院，獲英語和國際新聞雙學士學位，同年進入中央電視臺，擔任國際新聞編輯。1990年至1996年，先後任國際新聞組副組長、組長，期間，1993年3月1日組織實施了中央電視臺首次國際新聞的直播滾動播出，1994年4月1日，主導創辦了《世界報道》欄目。1996年2月任新聞編輯部副主任。1996年9月至1997年9月在英國威爾士大學留學，獲新聞學碩士學位。1998年5月調任海外中心外語新聞部副主任，主持工作。2000年5月任外語新聞部主任，參與領導英語頻道(CCTV-9)的策劃、設計和播出工作。2000年9月改任英語頻道副總監。2003年4月起任海外中心副主任兼英語頻道總監。

　　在擔任海外中心副主任兼英語頻道總監期間，對英語頻道進行數次重大改版，海外觀眾反響強烈，英語頻道海外用戶突破4000萬。2004年，參與由17套電視節目組成的“長城(北美)衛星電視平臺”的開播工作；組織創辦了面向西班牙語和法語觀眾的西法語頻道(CCTV E&F)。

　　2005年5月調任體育中心副主任，主持工作，2005年11月任體育中心主任，2006年7月兼任體育頻道總監！

　　Mr. Jiang Heping, born in Jan. 1963, master’s degree, CPC member, currently serves as the Executive Director of Sports Programming Center of China Central Television (CCTV) and Controller of CCTV Sports Channel, with the professional title of Senior Editor.

　　After graduation in July 1987 from the Shanghai International Studies University with bachelor’s degrees in English Language and International Journalism, he began to work at CCTV as a journalist and editor for the International News Division. From 1990 to 1996, he served successively as deputy chief and chief of the International News Division; during the period, he organized and carried out the first live broadcast of CCTV’s International News on March 1, 1993 and led the founding the program “World Report” in April 1994. In Feb. 1996, he was appointed deputy director of News Department. From Sept. 1996 to Sept. 1997, he studied at the University of Wales in the UK and received a master’s degree in journalism. May 1998, he was appointed deputy director of Foreign Language News Dept. of Overseas Service. May 2000, he became director of Foreign Language News Dept. and led the planning and creation of the English-language channel of CCTV-9; Sept. 2000, he was appointed deputy controller of CCTV-9. April 2003, he was appointed deputy head of Overseas Service and Controller of CCTV-9.

　　During his tenure as deputy head of Overseas Service and Controller of CCTV-9, Mr. Jiang Heping introduced a number of major relaunches and overhauls that changed the face of CCTV-9, bringing its overseas audience to over 40 million and winning positive response worldwide. In 2004, he took part in the launch of the “Great Wall (North America) Satellite TV Platform” which includes 17 channels and founded CCTV-E&F that aims at the Spanish- and French-speaking world.

　　May 2005, Jiang Heping was transferred to the Sports Programming Center as deputy head and person in charge. Nov. 2005 he was appointed as head of Sports Programming Center, and July 2006 as controller of the sports channel of CCTV-5.
