田進，男，漢族，1957年12月出生，山西洪洞人。1973年參加工作。湖南大學工商管理專業畢業，碩士研究生。現任國家廣播電影電視總局黨組成員、副局長。

　　1973年任中央辦公廳秘書局幹部；1981年任中央書記處辦公室正科級、副處級、處級秘書；1988年任國務院台灣事務辦公室秘書處處長，後兼任行政處處長；1991年任中央統戰部副局級秘書、辦公廳副主任；1993年任新華社香港分社協調部副部長。1995年調任國務院新聞辦公室六局，負責籌建、主持工作，後任六局局長；2001年任國家廣電總局副總編輯；2003年任國家廣電總局黨組成員，副總編輯；2004年任國家廣電總局黨組成員，副局長。

　　Tian Jin, born in December of 1957 in Hongdong, Shanxi Province, awarded with MBA degree and diploma by Hu Nan University, obtained first job in 1973, is the member of the group of Communist Party in SARFT, as well as the Vice Minister of SARFT.

　　In 1973, Mr. Tian Jin was a staff member of Secretary Bureau of General Office of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC). In 1981, Mr.Tian Jin was the secretary from the level of Section Chief, Deputy Director to Director for the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the CPC. In 1988, Mr. Tian Jin was the director of the Secretariat of Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, and then held a concurrent post appointed as the director of Administration of the organization. In 1991, Mr. Tian Jin was the secretary at the level of Deputy Director ?general, the Deputy Director ?General of General Office, of Department of United Front Work of the Central Committee of the CPC. In 1993, Mr Tian Jin was the Deputy Director-General of the Coordination Department of the Hong Kong Bureau of Xinhua News Agency. In 1995, Mr. Tian Jin was transferred to the 6th Bureau of the State Council Information Office, charging of the works of organizing and managing, then appointed as Director-General of the organization. In 2001, Mr. Tian Jin was appointed as Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the State Administration of Radio, Film & TV( SARFT). In 2003, Mr. Tian Jin was appointed as the member of the group of Communist Party in SARFT and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of SARFT. In 2004, Mr. Tian Jin was appointed as the member of the group of Communist Party in SARFT and the Vice Minister of SARFT.
