曹國偉先生自2006年5月起擔任新浪首席執行官兼總裁。之前，曹國偉先生任公司總裁兼首席財務官。
曹國偉先生於1999年9月加入新浪，先後擔任主管財務的副總裁、首席財務官、聯席首席運營官等職，在公司幾次關鍵收購和網絡廣告銷售中做出了重大貢獻。在加入新浪之前，曹國偉先生曾任職於世界四大會計事務所之一普華永道公司（PricewaterhouseCoopers)，負責為美國矽谷地區的高科技公司提供審計及商業諮詢服務，並參與了多家高科技公司在納斯達克的上市工作。
曹國偉先生畢業于上海復旦大學新聞系，並獲得美國奧克拉荷馬大學新聞學碩士及德州奧斯町大學商業管理學院財務專業碩士。曹國偉先生為美國會計師協會會員，美國註冊會計師。
Charles Chao: President and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Charles Chao was appointed Chief Executive Officer of SINA in May 2006. Prior to that, Mr. Chao was the Company's President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Chao joined SINA as Vice President of Finance in September 1999 and has also served as the Company's Co-Chief Operating Officer at one time, in charge of website operation, marketing and online advertisement sales. Mr. Chao has played a vital role in the success of the Company's past mergers and acquisitions and forming strategic alliances in the online advertising frontier.
Prior to joining SINA, Mr. Chao served as an experienced audit manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, a Big Four accounting firm, providing auditing and business consulting services for high tech companies in Silicon Valley, California.
Mr. Chao received his Master of Professional Accounting from University of Texas at Austin. He also holds an MA degree in Journalism from University of Oklahoma and a BA degree in Journalism from Fudan University in Shanghai, China. Mr. Chao is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
