China's economic recovery will be sustained into next year as fiscal stimulus continues to give a boost and private investment and exports both pick up.

The comment was made by an adviser to the central bank on Thursday, adding that the economy would grow by around eight percent next year.

The government has set 8 percent as its aim for gross domestic product growth this year. Most economists expect it to meet that target after annual growth climbed to 7.9 percent in the second quarter.
