The Belt and Road Media Community (BRMC) on Monday issued the 5G+4K Communication Innovation Proposal, calling for all members to share opportunities, take advantage of new technologies and create new space for win-win benefits.

The proposal was issued in Beijing during the Belt and Road Innovation Forum on 5G+4K Communication, which was jointly hosted by the China Media Group (CMG) and the BRMC.

The proposal stresses the principle of extensive consultation, joint contribution and shared benefits, and calls on the BRMC members to follow the principles of equality, voluntariness, mutual benefit and win-win cooperation, so as to open up broader space for media development in various countries in the new wave of technological revolution, so as to make new contributions to the construction of a community of shared future for mankind.

The proposal summarized five points of consensus reached by attending delegates of BRMC members: first, seize new development opportunities and build leadership in new technologies; second, accelerate resource sharing and enrich content supply; third, highlight communication innovations and promote converging development; fourth, persist in open collaboration for win-win results; fifth, build consensus to form a collective force of development.
