A South Korean special prosecutor's team has raided the home of former presidential chief of staff, Kim Ki-choon. The raid aimed to uncover evidence of his suspected illegal involvement in the culture ministry's personnel management.

It comes as part of the investigation into the ongoing corruption scandal surrounding President Park Geun-hye, who was impeached earlier this month. Local media reports investigators stormed Kim's home and seized computer hard disks, diaries and mobile phones.
