While Christmas is usually a time for families to get together and celebrate, the participants in this year's Vendee Globe did not have that luxury. Instead, they are in the middle of a nearly three-month non-stop solo race around the world, and spent the holiday crossing the Antarctic Ocean. The leaders have just passed Cape Horn, off the lower tip of South America, and took time to post their holiday greetings online.
