We bounce along to basketball from the CBA as the Guangdong Southern Tigers visited the Jiangsu Dragons. Donald Sloan and his Guangdong teammates were looking to keep their momentum going from 12 straight wins while Jiangsu are working hard to get into the top eight in order to make the playoffs.

3 minutes into the first quarter, Jiangsu down by 4. Yi Li fires beyond the arc and it's 8-7 Guangdong.

One and half minutes later, MarShon Brooks also nails a triple abut Jiangsu still trail by three.

Guangdong also go to work from distance as the Southern Tigers score 4 three-pointers in a row and take a 10 point lead after one quarter.

4 minutes into the 2nd, Brooks finds Samardo Samuels who's long jumper cuts the deficit to 7.

Less than a minute later, the duo are at it again and Guangdong lead by 5 after the first half.

Early in the third, Sloan lobs to Yi Jianlian for the Ally-oop. The Chinese international would finish with 21 points and 11 rebounds.

Brooks stands out and scores 11 points in a row to keep the Dragons in the competition.

Hu Xuefeng connects with Samuels who throws it down on Yi and Carlos Boozer. Jiangsu would take a 1 point lead into the final Q.

But eight-time champs Guangdong get back in control. Sloan's triple gives the Southern Tigers a 5-point lead.

The American then gets a crucial steal and sets up Zhou Peng for an easy lay-up. Guangdong up by 3 with 35 seconds to go.

3 seconds to go, Sloan beats the buzzer with a trey to give Guangdong the lead. 36 points for the American but none bigger than that one.

Jiangsu have a chance to send it to overtime, but Hu misses the final three. Guangdong win 106-103 for their 13th in a row.
