France memorializes victims on first anniversary of tragic night

The French President has opened a national day of commemoration in France, one year after the Paris attacks that killed 130. Francois Hollande unveiled a plaque covered by a small French flag at the national stadium, in memory of the person killed there, Manuel Dias.

He remained silent at the ceremony outside the Stade de France. He is to unveil plaques at the seven sites hit by the Islamic extremists. The final ceremony is to take place at the Bataclan, the concert hall where 90 people were killed by three attackers.
