Beijing will host the Cup of China later this week. This past weekend, several domestic stars took part in an exhibition in the city ahead of the contest.

ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating: Domestic competitors look to shine in Beijing

The event draw plenty fans, who had a chance to watch the skaters up close.

First on the ice are youngsters Han Yue and Yang Yongchao. Their will perform their short program to "The Lonely Goatherd".

They were followed by rising stars Sui Wenjing and Han Cong decked out in black. This is their goth phase. The pair won silver at the 2015 World Figure Skating Championships in Shanghai. Sui is recovering from an ankle operation and this is her first public performance since May.

Ice dancers Song Linshu and Sun Zhuoming also performed. The pair will represent the hosts at the Cup of China.

Later, the skaters then interacted with the fans, putting together a jigsaw puzzle, before posing for a photo. The Cup of China will be held in the Capital Indoor Stadium from November 18th till 20th.
