To the NBA, and after opening night it seemed that Kevin Durant experiment in Golden State would not work. The Warriors were blitzed by 29 points by San Antonio. But, K-D and the rest of G-State have been able to find a nice rhythm following that loss, picking up a win in their next encounter, and would look for two straight as they headed to the desert to play the winless Phoenix Suns.

Early on the hosts would be able to find the range T.J. Warren gets the jumper to drop -- he had 26, as PHX leads by 6.

G-State, would trail by 8, before Curry rains down a triple to cut the margin to 5, the reigning MVP thinks he was fouled, and gets a foul of his own. Steph is fouled by Brandon Knight, no call, so he pushes Knight -- a little frustration.

Phoenix despite dropping their opening two games would be frisky in this one, Eric Bledsoe crosses over his defender and gets to the cup. He finished with 21, as the lead grows to 9.

Second half and the Dubs start to get rolling, Durant comes off the pick and hits to tie things at 59.

Then off a fast break Draymond Green is able to finish with the cram and the visitors are now in front by 6.

Middle of the fourth and more good ball movement from the Warriors, as Klay Thompson cuts to the lane for the easy deuce to make it a 4-point game.

Devin Booker would keep things close, as he goes to the baseline for the jumper and it is 91-89.

Curry would be able to extend the lead, with a jumper -- he had 28, as he increases the margin to 4.

And then his new running mate -- Kevin Durant seals things -- finishing the lob, and is fouled. K-D had 37, as the Warriors hold on for a six point win.
