China's Ding Junhui is in the final of the International Championship in Daqing, Heilongjiang Province. Currently Selby leads 3-0. This is the third time these two have met with a championship on the line this year, with each player grabbing a victory. Overall it is the 24th time the pair have squared off.

Ding has won 11 times. Selby has 12 victories. Most recently, the Englishman outdueled Ding to take the World Championship in Sheffield, coming away with an 18-14 triumph for his second world title. Last month, Ding won his first ranking title in more than two years, outlasting the "Jester from Leicester" 10-6 to win the Shanghai Masters, becoming the first player to win that event twice.

Here is a look back at some of Ding's most notable achievements. He turned professional in 2003, at the age of 16. He achieved his first major professional success in 2005 when he won the China Open. Ding remains the only Asian player to be ranked world number one, getting there in 2014 and becoming the 11th player to reach the top spot. Ding has compiled six maximum breaks in professional play, he has grabbed 12 ranking event titles in the career. And earlier our Greg Laffradi had the chance to speak to him.
