MLB World Series: Schwarber has two RBI as Chi-Town ties Fall Classic at 1-1

To the diamond for Major League Baseball, and Game Two of the World Series. After losing the opener 6-0 to the Cleveland Indians, the Chicago Cubs had 2015 N.L. Cy Young Award winner Jake Arrieta on the mound, while Kyle Schwarber would play inspirational hero at the plate.

The outfielder who tore two knee ligaments in the second game of the regular season in April and just returned to action for this series, coming up big in the designated hitter role, as the visitors look to level the Fall Classic at 1-all.

Most of the fans at Progressive Field hoping to watch "The Land" put together another explosive performance.

But instead they get to see Anthony Rizzo yank Trevor Bauer's pitch into the rightfield corner in the top of the first inning. Kris Bryant motors all the way around from first base to score the first run of the game, while "The Riz" ends up at second with a double, and it's 1-0 Chi-Town.

Then Schwarber pokes the offering from Bauer into centerfield in the top of the third, plating Rizzo with the second run of the night, as Chicago double their lead to 2-0. Schwarber with the type of comeback he spent the last six months imagining, while rehabbing his left knee.

Carlos Santana has been taking "swings of delight" for the Tribe in these playoffs, but Arrieta strikes him out looking in the bottom of the third, and it's "hoy es adios."

Zach McAllister enters in relief for Cleveland, but Ben Zobrist lashes his pitch into the rightfield corner in the top of the fifth. Lonnie Chisenhall slips at the edge of the grass while chasing down the ball. That allows "The Riz" to chug home from first with the third run of the evening for the Cubs. Zobrist ends up on third base with a triple, after making it 3-0 in favor of the visitors.

Bryan Shaw comes in to face Schwarber, who bounces a single up the middle for his second RBI of the night, as Zobrist scores to make it 4-0 Chi-Town. Schwarber with no RBIs on the season, but two in the World Series.

Both teams would add one more run apiece, but Aroldis Chapman gets Roberto Perez to ground to shortstop for the final out of the night, wrapping up a 5-1 win for Chicago, who even the series at 1-all. The Cubs will host Game Three on Friday.
