LeBron James won his third Championship title in the past NBA season, and the Cleveland Cavaliers hero was in China these days to meet his fans thousands of miles away from his hometown.

Surrounded by thousands of fans in Guangzhou, LeBron James received a warm Chinese welcome, fitting of a four-time MVP.

From there, the Cleveland Cavaliers forward was in Beijing on Monday to teach young Chinese players, and offered advice on what it is like to be a pro basketball player.

James is spending three days in the world's most populous nation. Travelling across the country, trying to teach the finer points of the game to Chinese youngsters.

The four-time NBA MVP also taking part in drills showing them, the kind of work ethic it takes to be successful in basketball.

"James is now the best NBA player. Through playing with him closely, I found he had great attitude to training. He was careful in every detail on the court," said Bai Haotian, attending LeBron James Clinic.

James was in a boisterous mood in China, still basking in the afterglow of leading his hometown Cleveland Cavaliers to their only NBA title. The King, instrumental in their triumph over Golden State, leading the championship series, in points, rebounds, blocks and assists, and that victory is still in the mind of the King.

After his China tour, LeBron will fly back to the US to prepare for a brand new season where he will look to defend his title with the Cavaliers.
