Murray would grab the second in just 26 minutes, and lead 2-sets-to-love. Tsonga though would fight back and leads 4-2 in the third, and seems to be in control on this point, moving the world number two all over the court, but the two-time major winner, would prevail in this rally, with a winner down the line. The Frenchman would grab the set 6-3.

The fourth set would be a tense affair, but it was Tsonga who played the key points better, and gets a break in the ninth game, with a backhand winner, that helps him take the frame 6-4 to send the match into a decisive fifth set.
