September 18th, 2016, marks the 85th Anniversary of the "9/18 Incident". It marks when Japanese troops raided a railway station in Shenyang but accused the Chinese army of being behind it. This set off an escalation in fighting that eventually led to the Japanese occupation of Northeast China.
