Leaders of Turkey, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Serbia have expressed their hope that the Balkan countries will unite under the EU banner in the near future.
Turkish President Abdullah Gul, Chairman of Bosnia's tri-partite presidency, Haris Silajdzic and Serbian President Boris Tadic reached the consensus Saturday in Istanbul.
Their summit took place against a backdrop of strained ties between Serbia and Bosnia due to the 1992-1995 Balkan war.
