The 7.1-magnitude quake that struck 9 days ago, has left 2187 people dead, with 80 others still missing.

The quake has also left more than 12 thousand injured, with over 14 hundred, in serious condition. Significant progress has been made in relief work, in the Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture.

Relief materials have poured in, including thousands of weather-proof tents, hundreds of pre-fabricated homes, warm clothing, and more than a thousand tons of food and drinking water. More relief goods will be dispatched as soon as possible. The ministry of Civil Affairs is also sending a batch of materials that includes 7,000 heating stoves.
