China thanks world community for its help

China's Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Jiang Yu has thanked the international community for its help, in the aftermath of the Yushu quake.

She says 148 countries, 34 international and regional organizations have conveyed their condolences to the Chinese government and people.

Countries including Japan, South Korea, France, the US, Norway, Thailand and New Zealand have donated nearly 4 million US dollars.
