Iran's supreme leader denounced the US' "nuclear threats" against the Islamic Republic.

The reaction also a response to Obama's Nuclear Posture Review, which made clear that Iran was excluded from new limits on the use of the US' atomic weapons -- something Tehran interpreted as a direct threat.

Khanmenei said the US wants to use nuclear weapons and the control of atomic power as a tool to dominate the world.

Washington is pushing for a fourth round of U.N. sanctions on Tehran, over its refusal to halt nuclear activities.
