Thailand's Prime Minster has reportedly held an emergency meeting with coalition leaders, to discuss options in dealing with the worsening political standoff. Thai health officials say at least 21 people have been killed, with another 870 injured, in the clashes.

Thai media has reported that Prime Minister, Abhisit Vejjajiva, called a meeting with coalition leaders on Sunday, at a military camp in northern Bangkok. Reports claim that Abhisit may plea to other parties for the power to dissolve parliament, in critical situations.
