Polish acting president to announce poll date soon

Acting Polish President, Bronislaw Komorowski, said he would announce the date of Poland's presidential election after talks with all political parties. He made the remarks said in a televised address to the Polish people.

Acting Polish President, Bronislaw Komorowski, said he would announce the date of Poland's  presidential election after talks with all  political parties.

Bronislaw Komorowski said, "It is my duty, to set the date for presidential elections within two weeks, which will start no later than 60 days from their announcement. I intend to do so after consulting all parliamentary factions. I salute all those who died in the terrible catastrophe near Smolensk."
