Special Report: Shanghai World Expo 2010 |
Construction of the Shanghai World Expo venues has been underway for months. The China Space Hall was finished Friday and opened to the media.
The hall displays the history of China's space development, starting from China's first manned plane to the first jet plane with China's own intellectual property rights. It also stimulates future flights. Also, with special glasses, visitors can experience the feel of flying via a 3D simulator.
In the Switzerland Hall, a jokul is on display. 20 cable cars will take visitors to experience the journey from Swiss cities to the countryside.
And the French pavilion attracts visitors by its romance. French style weddings will be held during the World Expo. Lovers can apply for the chance to join the ceremony.
