DPRK scraps S. Korea tourism deal

The DPRK is scrapping a tourism deal with South Korea in the Mountain Kumgang area. It is also launching new plans to save tourism in the region.

The DPRK is freezing some of South Korea's assets in the area. It will nullify a tourism deal with South Korean company Hyundai, and begin a new tourism plan with another partner.

The DPRK is also threatening to entirely reevaluate its joint industrial park in Kaesong with South Korea if inter-Korean ties do not improve.
