A bus carrying Jewish worshipers has been pelted with stones by Palestinians in the West Bank city of Hebron. One woman was slightly injured in the fracas.

Thousands of Orthodox Jews arrived to celebrate the Passover holiday on Thursday. Palestinians have been protesting in the city since the Israeli government declared that it would add the Cave of Patriarchs to a list of national heritage sites.

The location is known to Muslims as the Ibrahimi Mosque. Israel says its intention is only to preserve the ancient shrine, and has promised that Muslims will still be free to worship there. But Palestinians see the move as an attempt to cement Israel's presence at the ancient landmark.
