Zhao Hua, director of Yun Xian, Water Conservation Bureau, said, "Our county is the core area of China's water diversion project. It is of great importance to enhance water resource management and conservation. We want to raise people's awareness to save every drop of water, further enhancing society's water safety and water conservation notion."

These are the questions on this infomration board. Are you willing to use one car in exchange for one bottle of water? If we cannot start saving water now, what will the situation be like in 20 years?

A local resident said, "I'm shocked to see the information board, in particular the severe drought the southwestern provinces. It has made me gain a new understanding of water resources, and water conservation is an unstoppable marathon."

While in east China's Jiangxi province, the campaign centers on the protection of the Gangjiang River. Children in primary school pick up their pens and draw images of the river.

Teachers also remind children to turn off the tap, and to cherish every drop of water.

A primary school pupil said, "Through this campaign, we know we should cherish our resources, and not to waste water."

While in Shandong province, water and energy saving bathroom products dominated people's consuming habits.

A local resident said, "Our country is calling for a low carbon life, and we support that through buying water and energy saving bathroom products. Although it is 500 yuan more expensive than ordinary ones, I still choose the one which is environmentally friendly."

It is estimated toilet use accounts for more than 60 percent of household water use. Water and energy saving toilet products dedicate much to saving water.

If everyone on earth contributes in their own way to saving and protecting water, we will have clean water for a healthy life.
