DPRK: Rare video of Kim Jong Il attending rally

The leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Kim Jong Il, made a rare appearance at a mass rally Saturday. He was there to help celebrate the completion of a factory.

Thousands gathered in a square in North Korea's eastern coastal city of Hamhung. Kim was accompanied by senior party, state and army officials. DPRK state television, says Kim and his officers congratulated the town's citizens on the completion of the modern synthetic fibre plant.
