The rendezvous occurred early Wednesday, as the two spacecraft sailed over the Atlantic, just west of Portugal. Endeavour delivered a new room, named Tranquillity, and an observation deck to the Station.

The room and observation deck will be under construction 320 kilometers above the Earth's surface. The Station will be 98 percent complete once the room and the observation deck are in place.

Endeavour's crew of six will spend more than a week at the space station, installing the compartments and helping with space station maintenance.
