Iran has introduced three new satellites as well as a satellite carrier. Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad attended the ceremony.

The unveiling was part of a 10-day period of national events marking the 31st anniversary of the 1979 Islamic revolution.

According to Iran's English-language Press TV, the country will make public a "booster rocket able to carry satellites."

One year ago, Iran launched a domestically made satellite into orbit for the first time. Iranian authorities say the orbiter was for peaceful telecommunications and research purposes.
