President Hu Jintao inspects Shanghai World Expo site

President Hu Jintao has called on the Chinese people to pool their strength and resources to make sure the Shanghai World Expo is a success.

With less than five months to go before the Expo's opening on May the 1st, Hu Jintao visited the Expo site Friday during an inspection tour in Shanghai.

Preparations for the Shanghai World Expo are now in the final stages.

President Hu Jintao encourages tens of thousands of construction workers in the Expo village to further contribute to their work.

Hu Jintao, Chinese President, said, "There are more than 100 days to go before the Expo opens. The time is limited and we have much work to do. I hope you will continue to work hard, so as to complete the construction of the World Expo village with high quality and efficiency, and to make a bigger contribution for a successful and splendid world Expo."
