China's International Rescue Team is searching for eight Chinese peacekeepers buried under the debris of the crumbled U.N. headquarters in Haiti's capital, Port-au-Prince.

The rescuers are now focusing on an area of the building where they are certain the missing peacekeepers will be found.

Using life detectors and sniffer dogs, the Chinese rescue team is working around the clock to locate the Chinese police officers.

At one point, Brazilian peacekeepers brought heavy machinery to speed up the operation.
