International assistance is pouring into earthquake-stricken Haiti. From the US to Europe and Asia, governments are sending urgent resources to help the Caribbean nation.

US-Aid has dispatched its first Disaster Assistance Response Team to Haiti from San Jose, Costa Rica. It's being supported by a Washington search and rescue team.

Usaid Administrator Rajiv Shan said, "We have two urban search and rescue units on their way, both are units with 72 individuals."

The US Air Force First Special Operations Wing, and a US Navy aircraft carrier are also en-route to help with air traffic control and operations at the Port-au-Prince airport.

Additional US Navy ships are also sailing to Haiti.
