Three days have passed since the failed attempt to bring down the trans-Atlantic aircraft on Christmas Day. Security remains high at airports around the world.

Passengers at Frankfurt airport in Germany faced delays as they experienced extensive security checks on Monday. The head of Germany's parliamentary Internal Affairs Committee, Wolfgang Bosbach, says it is important the latest technology is used to track dangerous devices.

Bosbach said, "We need the latest security technology to control passengers and luggage to make sure possible devices are detected, even if they are carried on the body of a passenger."
