Special Report: UN climate change conference in Copenhagen |

The Chinese Foreign Ministry is refuting the claims of British Climate Change Secretary Ed Miliband. The Minister is accusing China of trying to hijack the Copenhagen climate summit to stop a deal.

Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Jiang Yu, says the remarks against China contain obvious political attempts to escape obligations and spread discord among developing countries. She says China made arduous efforts to push forward the progress of the talks, and contributed to safeguarding the rights of developing countries.
