US drone attack kills 10 in NW Pakistan

Ten people have been killed by a US drone attack in northwest Pakistan's tribal region.

Officials said the unmanned aircraft fired two missiles at Ladha in South Waziristan Thursday morning. The strike was the second since US President Barack Obama's speech last week outlining plans to send 30,000 more US troops to Afghanistan.

On Tuesday, a suspected US drone strike in neighboring North Waziristan killed at least three and injured another three.
