China wants to see stable Afghanistan

As US President Barack Obama's new Afghan strategy is set to take hold, China's Foreign Ministry says it hopes to see a peaceful, stable and developing Afghanistan.

Spokesman Qin Gang says China hopes that international efforts will contribute to achieving these goals and enhance peace and stability. Qin Gang also added the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity should be fully respected.
