Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said in a television interview that his country's controversial nuclear programme is not up for international discussion.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Iranian President, said, "Everything is clear for us. From the very beginning we have been open to discussion about any issue, not just the nuclear issue, and from our point of view the nuclear issue is already resolved. At the present time there is no nuclear issue up for discussion with the six powers. They can jump up and down as much as they like but the issue is closed. We are working within the legal framework set by the IAEA and we want to defend our own rights."
